About Rep. Eaton

Rep. James Eaton is serving his first term in the Arkansas House, representing District 26, which includes portions of Carroll, Madison, and Franklin counties.

For the 95th General Assembly, Rep. Eaton serves on the House Revenue and Taxation Committee and the House Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs Committee.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Arkansas Tech University and a master’s degree in Health Education from the University of Central Arkansas.

Rep. Eaton is an insurance agent and a farmer. He previously served on the Madison County Quorum Court.

He lives in Kingston with his wife and their four children.
